Youth Garden Class
In collaboration with the Greenwood Garden Club and the Greenwood-Leflore Recycling Center, we are thrilled to host the next Youth Garden Class! All students in grades 3-6 are invited to participate in this fun, hands-on garden class.
Spring Break Banner Workshop
This fun workshop will gather on March 13 and March 15 from 10-11:30am to paint the banners that will be hung around the city of Greenwood during Spring! There is no cost to attend. Registration will open next week.
2018 Sewing Workshops
Led by Yolande van Heerden, participants will learn the basics of sewing, from threading a machine to working with a pattern. The grand finale for the sewing workshop is a fabulous fashion show!
Greenwood Shakespeare Project
Participants will be trained in Shakespeare's plays and Elizabethan stage conventions, set construction, music, dance, and costume design. The camp culminates with three nights of performance at the Greenwood Little Theatre.
Delta Wild Adventure
Participants spend a week outdoors having FUN and learning about the five natural resources important to the Yazoo-Mississippi Delta story: cotton, clay, cypress, cane, and natural plant colors.
The Delta Music Institute’s Mobile Music Lab (MML) program works mainly with students in the Mississippi Delta using music audio/video technology to nurture and encourage creativity. This program teaches students the basics of songwriting, the process of recording, producing and performing original musical works, beginning video production, and the importance of Mississippi’s musical heritage.
