Grown Folks Art Club
The Grown Folks Art Club is a place where grown ups can do art, mess around and enjoy some stress-free creativity time. These evenings have zero expectations, our hope that that you wind down and engage your creative side. Classes are held every second and fourth Thursdays from 6-8 pm and BYOB.
Beginners to Intermediate: This class is a FUN way to learn how to knit or get back into knitting. Emphasis on developing technique and mastering the basics. Participants will learn cast on, cast off, knit and purl stitches. Intermediate knitters are also welcome to participate to continue to develop higher level knitting skills. Participants of ALL AGES are welcome (Mamas and G-mas bring your kids)!

"Let's Make a [NATIVITY] Scene" Pottery Class
Join sculptor C.J. Coleman for this excellent 2-hour holiday pottery class. Participants will be led through the steps of creating their very own sculpted Nativity set with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. All supplies and materials will be provided.
Class will be held the evening of November 16th from 6-8pm.
The ukulele class is designed to provide a solid musical foundation in a fun, relaxed group setting with the goal of students being able to continue making music on their own.
Students will learn how to:
- Tune and hold ukulele
- Strum basic chords
- Read chord chart
- Play simple songs

When: Tuesdays (July 7 – 28) from 3:30 – 5:00
Fine Silver Jewelry with Art Clay
Learn to create fine silver jewelry using Art Clay. Students will make a pair of earrings, pendant or ring of their own design. Art Clay can be stamped, folded, cut or texturized for a number of creative possibilities.

Instructor: Bill Jackson, a native of Drew, MS, attended Mississippi Delta Community College and received further training at Ringling School of Art and Design. He is a former U.S. Army Golden Knight Skydiving Champion and an accomplished painter and photographer with his works on display at Brown’s Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, MS.
