Adult Sewing Workshop - Memory Book

  • ArtPlace Mississippis 212 West Washington Street Greenwood, MS, 38930 United States (map)

Beginners to Intermediate: This non-traditional sewing class allows you to explore and express yourself freely in an artful way using hand sewing, straight machine and for the second time 'rounders, some serger sewing. In this class, we will utilize antique quilts with a variety of vintage and collectible textiles, trim, beads, old costume jewelry, ephemera and photo transfers. Bring your grandmother's costume jewelry, old photos, labels from clothing that are long gone, concert stubs from unforgettable nights--anything that you want to incorporate into your work. This is a one day sewing workshop with an hour lunch break. This class is FUN and has NO RULES, so bring your open mind and come and do some creative sewing with me.
